BASEBALL
We offer the following divisions for baseball. Birthday cut off for each division is May 1, of each year.
QUICKBALL
Recommended for 4-5 year olds, Quickball is literally “Quick Baseball” or “Quick Softball” — a national youth sports program that teaches diamond skills in a fast-paced, sandlot setting! Click below to watch a short video.
QUICKBALL - What do I need?
At this level, your child only needs a glove.
The league will provide the uniform shirt & hat. Children may wear any pants or shorts and may wear sneakers, if they prefer. Baseball/Softball cleats are not required.
Additionally, each child will receive a Quickball bat & ball.
PONY
Recommended for 6 and 7 year old boys, starting to learn to hit off a coach as a pitcher. Kids start to get introduced to being out, hits to the outfield can result in doubles, but still learning all positions on the field.
PONY - What do I need?
In the Pony division, the children will need:
- a bat*
- a glove
- a batting helmet
- cleats
- baseball pants (any color & style)
The league will provide the uniform shirt & hat.

ROOKIE
Recommended for 7 and 8 year old boys, starting to learn a kid pitch game. Teams field up to 10 in the field, and the field size is 46-60, but some kids pitching from 40 feet to aid in development.

In the Rookie division, the children will need:
- a bat*
- a glove
- a batting helmet
- cleats
- baseball pants (any color & style)

MINORS
Recommended for 9 – 10 year old boys, playing on a 46-60 field. Games are kid pitched, with stealing of 2nd and 3rd bases now allowed. Teams will play 9 in the field, and get introduced to a more competitive level of baseball.
Minors - what do I need?
In the Minors division, the children will need:
- a bat*
- a glove
- a batting helmet
- cleats
- baseball pants (any color & style)
- Catchers Gear (ONLY if your child is a catcher.)

MAJORS
Recommended for 11 and 12 year old boys, playing on a 50-70 field. Stealing of bases is now allowed, pitchers learn how to pitch from the stretch and hold runners, and the infield fly rule is in effect.

CONNIE MACK
Recommended for ages 13 – 16, playing on a 60-90 field. Full baseball rules are in effect here. Central Perk offers the ability to play in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Games are held with other local leagues, so some level of local travel is required. Connie Mack also offers a 17-21 year old division for the summer only.
